Mission
Our mission is to provide comprehensive rehabilitation and habilitation services, at an affordable rate, for individuals with and without insurance. It is our vision that all members of our community will receive the highest quality of therapy services to meet their rehabilitation and habilitation needs across all ages and stages of life.
Founders
Julie Y. Pratt
M.S. CCC-SLP
Julie earned her bachelors degree in Speech Pathology and Gerontology from Western Michigan University and her masters degree in Speech – Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. She has worked in a variety of settings including nursing homes, outpatient clinics, hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Her special interest areas are: Swallowing, augmentative communication, head and neck cancer, stroke, Parkinson's disease, early childhood development and stuttering. Julie has been a presenter at both the local and state levels. She has earned her certificate of clinical competency (CCC) from the American Speech—Hearing Association. Additionally, she served as the Vice President for Legislation and President to the Michigan Speech and Hearing Association.
Sherry L. Riedel
M.A. CCC-SLP
Sherry earned her bachelors degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Ohio State University and her masters degree in Speech – Language Pathology from Michigan State University. She has worked in a variety of settings including nursing homes, outpatient clinics, hospitals and schools. Her special interest areas are: Literacy, voice, cleft palate, autism, hearing impairment, brain injury and memory. Sherry co-authored A Wilson’s Disease Case Study and has received extensive training in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has earned her certificate of clinical competency (CCC) from the American Speech—Hearing Association. Additionally, she serves as the Treasurer to the Michigan Speech and Hearing Association.
